The Platform for Extratonality comes back from its summer rest with an evening full of poetry, noise, magic, vacuum cleaners, vocals, older media, field recordings and arabic maqams. For these we have with us four extraordinary performers:
Dagg3r: I make noise , drone, heavy electronics , experimental since 2013. I' m already tired of it also tired of writing bios in 3rd person. I scream. https://dagg3r.bandcamp.com/
Kovač FM is a producer, visual artist and radio maker. Their production is mostly (but not always) result of transforming and synthesizing poetry and different samples into new mutants and spells that may become noisy at times, in the search for yet another glitch. https://soundcloud.com/kovacfm
Valerio Conti:A performance featuring a dissonant choir of household appliances. The performer attunes their voice to the rhythms of vacuum cleaners, mixers, and pre-recorded sounds, creating a shared sonic field of friction, intimacy, and exhaustion. Valerio is an artist working across sculpture, voice, and performance to explore how intimacy is mediated through images, screens and domestic environments. https://valerio-conti.com/
Omarleen is a Syrian/Dutch sound artist and image researcher based in Rotterdam. Her work with sound goes through improvisation and noise. Crafting compositions using field recordings, old cassette tapes, radio noise and electronic sounds. Influenced by Arabic maqams and various singing traditions. Omarleen sings when her voice allows.
